ESVCP-ECVCP Dublin 2011

Posted: Friday, September 9th 2011

As mentioned in a previous Blog Post, Tridelta were delighted to attend the recent meeting of the ESVCP-ECVP which was held in Dublin's historical Trinity College.

It was a pleasure to see many old friends and to meet several new ones at what was a well attended conference which produced a very high level of scientific content and interest - as well as a very succesful social  programme which involved tours of the beautiful Iish countryside, a visit to the historic Book of Kells which is housed in Trinity College, a highly enjoyable conference dinner and of course a "few" visits to several of Dublin's excellent pubs: all in the interests of science of course.

Tridelta would like to thank everyone who came to visit our stand: several people commented on our large poster (pictured above on the stand) which is a schematic representation of the Acute Phase Response: the smaller versions of this poster which were available from the stand were very popular with the delegates, however if you didn't manage to get along to the meeting and would like a copy of the poster, we have made it available for download as a pdf on the "Contact" page of the website which you can access from the drop down menu. (It is actually the poster sized pdf so please remember to adjust the settings on your printer to get it to print on one page!)

Finally we would like to thank Peter O'Brien of UCD and all of his hard working team for an excellent meeting which was a pleasure to attend and be involved with.
